HTC Fuze released for AT and T with the touch of HTC G1
AT&T and HTC have officially launched the HTC Touch Pro as the Fuze, a touch-screen handheld that takes cues from the T-Mobile G1, without the Google Android guts. Fuze is powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional OS and features HTC’s TouchFLO user interface for one-touch access. Like the G1, the Fuze features a fill slide-out QWERTY keyboard. Measurements of the HTC Fuze are 4.02x2.01x0.71 inches and the weight is 5.82oz.





Other features of the Fuze include 3.2MP camera, VGA resolution screen, Wi-fi, Bluetooth, GPS, XM Satellite Radio, and more. With Quad Band GSM/EDGE (850/900/1800/1900MHz) support in addition to Tri Band UMTS/HSDPA (850/1900/2100MHz) support the Fuze also have WiFi for an additional high speed data access option. It also supports TV out for easily share your pictures and videos with everybody else in the room. The built-in GPS receiver with A-GPS support also offers satellite navigation.


Fuze lets you access and edit e-mail attachments using mobile versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, OneNote and PowerPoint. Additionally, the Fuze supports industry-specific applications and Microsoft System Center Mobile Device manager, a mobile device management solution that also provides security, mobile VPN and software distribution for Windows Mobile devices. The Fuze is now available online, priced at $299.99 after a 2-year commitment and mail-in rebates.
