Nokia N97 mini joins the club in the white color

The Nokia N97 mini has been available for only a few days now that we are faced with a nice winter-themed surprise. No, we're not talking about the phone contents, but rather its color. It's white this time in tune with the upcoming holiday season and most of all in tune with the original look of its elder brother - Nokia N97.

Back in the day when Nokia introduced the Nokia N97 mini, the device was expected in two color versions - Cherry Black and Garnet. Now, a few days after its market launch, N97 mini is also available in a third, previously unannounced, color variant. Well, you can bet it's as white as it gets. Meet the N97 mini Snow White.

As far as the functionality is concerned, nothing has been changed. You get the same 3.2" resistive touchscreen, slide out full QWERTY keyboard and a 5 megapixel autofocus sharpshooter. Unlike its bigger bro, the N97, which comes with good 32GB aboard, Nokia N97 mini packs only 8GB of internal memory. The other differences are minor.

When closed the two smartphones look almost the same. The same goes for the QWERTY keyboard (the only major difference here is N97's D-pad). The only deal breaker when it comes to N97 mini is its price which is about the same (if not higher) as the one of its more capable brother.

Nokia N97 mini is already available in white in select stores where it is sold exclusively but we hope to see it offered by a wider range of merchants as soon as possible because the white version looks really hot, uhh... sorry, we meant cool.

Nokia World Event unleashes full insight in upcoming Nokia N900 and N97 Mini

With only several days remaining to the start of the Nokia World event, we can already feel the excitement building up. We already got one announcement yesterday just to warm us up but we are certainly hoping that more will follow once things get rolling in Stuttgart on 1 September.

After the preview that popped up yesterday we were quite confident in predicting that the Nokia N97 Mini will be one of the new devices to be announced at this year's Nokia World. The trimmed-down version of the company multimedia flagship has now made another unofficial appearance, through a leaked press shot. It certainly doesn't give any more information that we already have, but it's another confirmation that the actual launch of the handsetcannot be far away.

The other device that made an appearance in similar fashion is the Nokia N900 former tablet. Again previewed ahead of announcement, the Maemo-based smartphone is certainly quite far ahead in its development and it will hardly be a surprise if we see it announced next week. And it certainly looks like a real beauty at those official shots, right?

So stay tuned as the Nokia World unveils next week and tells us if there is more left to unveil.

Upcoming Nokia Mobile Sightings for next month at Celluloco.com

below are photos of highly rumored Nokia N97 mini showed up. But the story this time is much more eye catchy as along the still unannounced N97 mini there are a bunch of other Nokia devices. And we can't quite remember being formerly introduced to all of them, if you get our drift.

Is that N97 mini and the 5900 we see on that pic?

All of you know well the Nokia N97 while its smaller brother (pet-named by the community as Nokia N97 mini) is expected to be revealed officially very soon (Nokia World 09 is taking place on 2nd and 3rd September in Stuttgart, Germany). The other touchscreen equipped device is also a mystery but we guess it's the highly anticipated Nokia 5900, a revamped version of the popular 5800 XpressMusic.

A closer look at the imagehttp://www.celluloco.com/home.php reveals known names like E72 and E52. While the first is still awaiting its market launch, the other, E52, is already available and we even took it for a spin and a detailed review just a few days ago. In case you've missed it.

On the pic there are also the 6760 slide (more popular as Nokia 6790 Surge across the USA), 2730 classic and 6303 classic. You still remember the 6303 classic, don't you? Let's refresh your memory with our review, which is still hot out of the oven.

Also to see are two sliders, one of them - the 6600i slide, and the other one, in white, is still unannounced.

Celluloco.com has the insider on the coveted "NOKIA N97 MINI" - Baby Version of the Famed Smar

The available info doesn't get any further than a spy shot or two, but we're talking the real deal here. The most popular handset in our database for several weeks in a row - Nokia N97 is to have a baby brother soon.

Rumors of a more compact version of the Nokia N97 have been around for quite a while now but that does look rather more believable. The possibility that this might be a nicely done fake unit still remains of course.

The Nokia N97 mini next to the original model

With the entry-level 5530 XpressMusic just around the corner, Nokia needs an upper-midrange model to fill the gap between the N97 and the 5800 XpressMusic so it can have a complete range of touchscreen devices. We aren't quite sure if a QWERTY side-slider is the best choice, but the N97 was pretty well received so what do we know. A more affordable version of the Symbian-fans dream device might be just what's needed to have them make the switch to the Symbian touchscreen world.
