Four new handsets with a distinct audiophile flavor appeared on the Samsung website today. The sliders Samsung S6700 and Samsung C5510 offer decent mid-range functionality, while the music-oriented duo Samsung M2510 and Samsung M2310 are targeted at music lovers on a tighter budget.
Easily, the most interesting of the bunch Samsung S6700 offers quad-band GSM and dual-band UMTS (with HSDPA 3.6Mbps) support. It packs a 2.4" QVGA LCD display, capable of showing up to 16 million colors. There's also a 3 megapixel autofocus camera on board, complemented by a dual LED flash.
Samsung S6700 has 120MB of internal memory, expandable by up to 16GB through the microSD card slot. It other noteworthy features are built-in GPS receiver, Bluetooth and USB.
The other mid-range offering, Samsung C5510 sports a 2.2" 16M color LCD display of QVGA resolution. Quad-band GSM support and dual-band UMTS, make it capable of worldwide roaming (although the 3G speeds won't be available everywhere).
The camera onboard the Samsung C5510 has 2 megapixel resolution and sadly no autofocus. Bluetooth v2.1, USB v2.0 and a microSD card slot with support for up to 16GB memory cards complete the specs list.
Moving on to Samsung M2510 we see quad-band GSM support and a 2.2" TFT QCIF display. The 3G support has been sacrificed in order to bring the price down, but all music-related features seem intact.

The Samsung M2510 comes with DNSe audio enhancement technology, FM radio with RDS and a 3.5mm standard audio jack. There is also a microSD card slot with support for up to 8GB memory cards for storing your music collection. Bluetooth and USB give you two more options for transferring it to the phone. A 1.3 megapixel camera should do for adding images to the contacts in your phonebook.
Finally we come to the clamshell Samsung M2310. It sports a main 2" Q-QVGA (120 x 160 pixels) display and 1.06" secondary one with a resolution of 96 x 96 pixels. Quad-band GSM support is also present as well as a VGA camera, Bluetooth and USB.
The internal memory of Smasung M2310 is only 9MB but the microSD card slot can handle up to 8GB cards. A VGA camera completes the list of what the handset has to offer.
