Sony Ericsson announces new 12 megapixel camera modules

The friggin mobile phone megapixel race is getting ludicrous, with Samsung already hitting the 10 megapixel lead. But Sony has something to say about it, with the Exmor IMX060PQ CMOS sensor, paired with its matching auto-focus lens module, will turn some lucky handset into a 12.25 megapixel shooter when it enters the race in March.
