Recently Nokia announced their two new phones. One of them is Xpress Music series’ Nokia 5130 XpressMusic and another one is Supernova series’ Nokia 7100 Supernova. Nokia decided to release their Nokia 5130 XpressMusic in the first quarter of 2009 with an estimated retail price of 90 EUR and Nokia 7100 Supernova in last quarter of 2008 with an estimated retail price of EUR75 (US$96) before taxes and subsidies.
The Nokia 5130 XpressMusic is an affordable music phone with some dedicated music keys, a digital MP3/MP4/eAAC+/WMA player, stereo FM radio with RDS and a standard 3.5 mm connector for headphones. For getting long time music experience is also includes a Li-Ion (BL-5C) standard battery that can keep the phone alive up to 288 hours.
The memory expansion is also available up to 8GB (1GB included) by using microSD card slot. Equipped with an integrated 2.0-megapixel camera, the 5130 XpressMusic supports photo sharing through Share on Ovi and Mail on Ovi email service or via a Bluetooth connection (v2.0 with A2DP). You can enjoy up to 20 hours of music playback on the move in quality audio with the MP3 music player and also can play music out loud with high quality loudspeakers.
On the other hand, the Nokia 7100 Supernova is a new member of the Supernova series. It’s a basic phone but like the other Supernova phones it also has a gorgeous design. Actually it is designed for style and entertainment. The 7100 Supernova packs a 1.3 megapixel camera and a built-in FM radio, for more mobile entertainment wherever you are.
The 7100 Supernova also features support for the recently announced Mail on Ovi service, which allows users to create and manage a personal email account right from their cell phone.
